01 / OVERVIEW
Product overview
A symmetrical, low-boiling organosilicon compound with a single proton and carbon environment. Its best-known use is as the zero-ppm chemical-shift reference in NMR spectroscopy.
02 / SPECIFICATION
Typical specification
The values shown are typical reference data, not guaranteed sales specifications. Final limits are defined by the agreed TDS, contract and batch COA.
03 / APPLICATIONS
Applications
NMR reference standardCommon zero-ppm reference for ¹H, ¹³C and ²⁹Si NMR spectroscopy.
Analysis and calibrationUsed in spectral analysis and instrument calibration.
Silicon precursor researchUsed as a volatile silicon-containing precursor in selected deposition, plasma and materials studies.
04 / HANDLING
Packaging, storage and transport
Keep the handling system dry and preferably under nitrogen. Avoid inhalation and skin/eye contact. Do not flush spills directly with water; follow the SDS and use a compatible inert absorbent.
Typical packagingAvailable in sample packs, drums or IBCs depending on product compatibility and order quantity.
Sealing requirementsUse a clean, dry and tightly sealed compatible container; nitrogen protection is recommended for moisture-sensitive grades.
Storage conditionsStore in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from moisture, heat, ignition sources and incompatible materials.
Transport and shelf lifeTransport classification and shelf life depend on the exact grade and must follow the latest SDS and confirmed order specification.
Actual packaging, shelf life and dangerous-goods classification must follow the exact grade, order and latest SDS.
