Applications
Hydrogen silicone fluids and siloxanesHydrolysis, condensation and equilibration produce Si–H-functional fluids and crosslinkers.
Hydrosilylation intermediateThe Si–H bond reacts with olefins, allyl or vinyl compounds to introduce organic functionality.
Functional silanesUsed to synthesize methylsilanes bearing alkyl, haloalkyl or other functional groups.
Silicone-rubber crosslinkingDownstream hydrogen siloxanes are used as crosslinkers in addition-cure silicone rubber.

Packaging, storage and transport
Keep the handling system dry and preferably under nitrogen. Avoid inhalation and skin/eye contact. Do not flush spills directly with water; follow the SDS and use a compatible inert absorbent.
Typical packagingAvailable in sample packs, drums or IBCs depending on product compatibility and order quantity.
Sealing requirementsUse a clean, dry and tightly sealed compatible container; nitrogen protection is recommended for moisture-sensitive grades.
Storage conditionsStore in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from moisture, heat, ignition sources and incompatible materials.
